I am Yu Zhou, a Research Associate in Prof. Nina Buchmann’s group and a Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Systems Science at ETH Zürich. My current research project is CERES: Impacts of Air Pollution and Climate Extremes on the Resilience of European Forests.
I was previously a Schmidt AI in Science Postdoctoral Fellow in Prof. Yiqi Luo’s ECOLAB at the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) at Cornell University.
I received my Ph.D. from Clark University’s Graduate School of Geography in 2021, supervised by Prof. Christopher A. Williams. I received my M.S. in Cartography & GIS from the Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth (CAS) in 2012, supervised by Prof. Li Zhang.
